Ázsia Expressz Hungary in indonesia

This year, a popular Hungarian reality adventure show took its audience on an epic journey across Malaysia and Indonesia. Hosted by Ördög Nóra, the show followed celebrity duos as they raced through exotic landscapes, tackling physical and mental challenges without money, bank cards, or phones.

For the Indonesian leg, the production brought the action to Java and Bali — from bustling cities to volcanic highlands and sacred temples — offering viewers a mix of breathtaking scenery and unforgettable drama.

At Bali Fixer, we proudly served as the official production fixer for the 6th season of the Hungarian Asia Expressz in Indonesia, seamlessly managing the end-to-end process. Our responsibilities covered everything from scouting, recce, securing authority and location permits to arranging local crew logistics, vendors and more. We coordinated over 40 local crew members, including location managers, production assistants, drivers, and overall back office across two islands.

With more than 22 days of production and over 90 unique filming locations, this was one of the most ambitious reality shoots of its kind in Indonesia. Our team delivered on-the-ground support and contingency planning, ensuring smooth execution in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

The show captured Indonesia’s most striking backdrops — from the vibrant markets and volcanic ridges of Java, to the rice terraces, temples, and beaches of Bali. Contestants faced both physical endurance tasks and cultural challenges, while we ensured everything behind the scenes ran seamlessly to support the storytelling.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire production crew for their dedication and professionalism throughout this ambitious project. A special thank you goes to Eccholine for entrusting us with the Indonesia leg of the adventure, and to TV2 for bringing this spectacular season to millions of viewers. It was an honor to contribute to such a dynamic and visually stunning production.
